Questions I am tired of answering, written down properly
Are you affiliated with or endorsed by the cabaret or its operators?
No. This site is my notebook. I am a retired dresser, not a press officer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the famous cabaret on boulevard de Clichy or to the companies that operate it. I do not sell tickets. I do not hold a reservation system. I do not take a commission. Tickets are sold only on the official site — start at the operator’s homepage and ignore anyone in a comment thread offering “a friend at the door.”
How some visitors found this page
Some of you did not type my name into a search box. You typed a question about seats or dress code, and a small search advertisement of mine was sitting next to the results. I pay for those ads the way a baker pays for a listing: so that a useful answer exists among the clones. If you wanted the official box office, you should go there directly. If you wanted a dresser to tell you the balcony sees the geometry better than a wall table, you are in the right kitchen.
The advertisements may use cookies to understand whether the ad was useful. That is advertising, not spying on your evening. Details live on the privacy page, written for Europeans, because most of you arriving here are European or visiting as if you were.
Dinner or the late show?
Late show if you came for the dancing. Dinner if you want to sit early and accept tight tables and theatre plates. I have written the longer version on the evening and straight talk.
What should I wear?
Smart. Jacket, proper shoes, no sportswear. The door will win the argument. Details on planning.
Do you have a seating map?
I have opinions, not a CAD file. Centre floor is glamorous and close. Balcony front is where the choreography reads. Far sides are angled. The house’s own map is the one that matches the ticket you actually buy.
Can I bring children?
A revue is not a cartoon. Check the operator’s age rules on their site. If you bring a young person, talk beforehand about theatre, feathers, and the fact that the room is loud and late.
Is the gift shop worth it?
No. Feathers do not travel. Sequins look cheaper under shop lighting. Buy the memory, not the magnet.
